At the new start of a new journey, let’s wish AECS a great success in the year of ox and that the industry will create a new chapter.

When AECS was about to go public, it received the Collaborative Development Award of 2020 from JAC Group at the JAC Group Supplier Meeting of 2021 held on December 29, 2020.

The theme of 2020 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2020) is “Smart Vehicle for the Future”. The exhibition shows advanced automotive technologies and products at home and abroad, focuses on innovation products combining new technologies such as intelligent connection and lightweight design with traditional auto industry, displays innovative ideas and results all around in product upgrade, brand upgrade, industrial upgrade, and travel modes in the global auto industry, so as to cause people to aspire to and pursue for a better life with vehicles.

On the mornings of September 24 and 25, AECS was invited to participate in the "2020 Nantong-Xi'an Communication Conference on Research Cooperation between Enterprises and Universities" organized by the Science and Technology Bureau of Nantong City.

At the beginning of 2020, the unexpected outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic broke our peaceful life, and then we could hear news about the pandemic every day. The pandemic wasn’t stably controlled until July. In this situation, AECS started a 30-day summer calibration test.

The 2019 Summer Engine Calibration Test of AECS ended successfully in Turpan, Xinjiang. Twenty new vehicles from domestic vehicle manufacturers took part in the 26-day summer calibration test, which mainly focused on calibration of engine with the vehicle.

As the Chinese old saying goes that one cannot enjoy the fragrance of plum blossoms without experiencing freezing cold, for AECS, the year of 2019 was the start of a new journey of adventures. In this year, the China 6 projects went into mass production, which ensured a bumper harvest. Having overcome the hardships and challenges in 2018, AECS finally reaped new opportunities and won great honors.

The special geographical environment forms extreme weather conditions. As the cold current from Siberia arrives, Manzhouli, one of China’s coldest cities, will show a fantastic scene full of ice and snow. In this city, the average temperature in winter is -30℃, therefore the extreme coldness makes it a natural testing ground for the auto enterprises that value the quality much to do performance and environmental tests. Manzhouli is located in the northwest of Hulunbuir steppes in Inner Mongolia, bordering Greater Khingan Mountains in the east, Hulun Lake in the south, Mongolia in the west, and the Russia in the north. Its lowest temperature in history is -44.9℃. As a Chinese saying goes, keep practicing even in the hottest time in summer and the coldest time in winter, AECS chooses Manzhouli that has the extreme environment as the battlefield for the 2019 winter test.

On August 2, the first summer test kicked off, in which AECS Research Institute dispatched a total of 17 test vehicles for powertrain calibration tests and partial adaptability tests at the high-temperature and high-altitude test cites such as Tianshui, Hami, Turpan, Dunhuang, Qilian, and Guangyuan.
