On the morning of March 31, 2018, Yu Shuhuai, Chairman and General Manager of AECS was invited to attend the general groundbreaking ceremony for major projects of Gangzha District, Nantong City, in 2018, which was held in Shibei Science and Technology City.

Among projects that have started construction this time and recently, there are 8 major projects including Suzhou AECS and InvisPower, which are part of the total 20 projects with a total investment of nearly 15 billion yuan. Accelerating the construction of major projects has always been an important measure for Gangzha District to promote its high-quality development.
In recent years, as a provincial high-tech and development zone, Gangzha District has signed a number of top and leading projects thanks to its creative "Fund+Base" investment attraction model and the project-oriented principle which focuses on key industries such as electronic information and intelligent equipment. The new base of AECS in Nantong is located in Shanghai Shibei Science and Technology City, Gangzha District, Nantong City. With a total investment of 1.08 billion yuan, this project uses a land of 30,003.65 square meters and will set up 6 separate plants with a total construction area of 52,350 square meters. The project is expected to be completed in 2019, and by then it will include a technical center, a manufacturing center, and a test center. After completion, it will become a comprehensive high-tech enterprise with annual sales of nearly 1.5 billion yuan, which will contribute to achieve the goal of 30% market share by domestic automotive electronic control products by 2025 proposed in the "Made in China 2025" plan and fill the gap of engine electronic control market in China.
